Clay Stafford Named 2019 Star Watch Honoree

NASHVILLE — Founder of Killer Nashville, Clay Stafford, has been announced as an honoree in the fifth annual Publishers Weekly Star Watch program. A total of 50 honorees from the U.S. and Canada were selected by a jury composed of editors and managers of Publishers Weekly, Frankfurter Buchmesse, and the American Booksellers Association. According to PW, honorees were “chosen for their trailblazing spirit, innovative problem-solving, and leadership qualities.”

“I was very surprised when I heard the news that I was a Star Watch 2019 Honoree. My thanks to the editors and managers of Publishers Weekly, Frankfurter Buchmesse, and the American Booksellers Association for this honor,” said Stafford.

Of the 50 honorees, the Top 5 who stood out amongst the rest will be announced in the September 2, 2019 issue of Publishers Weekly. Of those, one “Superstar” will be named at a celebratory event in New York City.

The winner will receive a sponsored trip to the Frankfurt Book Fair.
